Grown in the Rwenzori mountains in Western Uganda along the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo at altitudes of 1200-2200 metres above sea level. A number of small farmers grow and harvest their coffee and take it to the Kisinga Washing Station for processing where strict quality controls must be met. We buy this coffee direct from Omwani Coffee who operate the Washing Station, ensuring the best quality coffee and the best price for the farmers. Best brewed as a filter or aeropress, expect big juicy red grape, apricot and cherry flavours and a hint of dark chocolate on the finish.
