Located in the West Valley the Santa Anita estate has been managed by the same family for five generations. The farm strikes a tremendous balance between tradition and innovation with their coffees being fully shade grown in harmony with the natural eco system and local flora and fauna. Their efforts in sustainability have led them to be recognised as the first coffee farm that is carbon neutral in it's production. Best served black as a filter/pourover or cafetiere there are sweet, fruity notes in abundance. Gooseberries, citrus, tropical fruit and a hint of vanilla. With a sweet toffee like finish as it cools this is a delightfully complex coffee that is a classic Costa Rican flavour profile.
