Nepal SFTGFOP1
- Region:Himalayas
- Type:Black Tea
Description
High grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, this is a truly fantastic tea. Not as well known as Darjeeling, but equal in quality and freshness. The bushes were planted later than those in Darjeeling, resulting in a younger character and leaf. The hills, made famous by Ghurkha armies, possess the same quality making tools as those of Darjeeling – the height, the soil, the temperature, the air and rainfall, all add to the flavour and quality of this tea.
Nepali tea has a great full body even though is it light in colour. Fragrant and aromatic but has a more pronounced fruity strength and a delicate sweetness when drunk without milk.
