Exchange Coffee in Skipton is on Gargrave road. Formerly named Charles A. Hallas, the late Charles A Hallas, owned and roasted coffee here until the mid 1990's when we took over the shop. It has always had a reputation for great coffee.
All the coffee here again is roasted on the premises, as he did many years ago.
It is very interesting to see the green coffee stored in sacks and then roasted as required. the shop has many old and interesting sign boards, and has the feel and aroma of shops you may remember from your childhood.
The shelves are filled with the teas and coffees and complemented by homewares and fine foods. Should you wish, we have a Fracino cappuccino machine to make you a great cappuccino or latte for you take with you or to enjoy in our outside area where you can watch the world go by, weather permitting!
Exchange Coffee has been proud to continue the tradition of coffee roasting in this unique Skipton shop.
