Characterized by notes of rich dark chocolate, soft red berry notes and with a round, sweet body. The coffee cherries are harvested in conditions ideal for coffee growing and then fermented and pulped with natural spring water. Enthusiasts claim it to be the perfect coffee combining fine acidity, full body and smooth flavour, with the peaberries offering an extra fruity zing to the palate. All these factors give the most exquisite cup quality. Today with Jamaican coffee production having been reduced by a series of bad storms and with up to 80% exported to Japan, demand far outweighs supply and this is reflected in the price for this elusive and delicious coffee.
